I am planning on sourcing KEP960N EPDM, and I would like more information about the compression set.(and how it can be compared to the silicone compression set) Is there any data you can provide? Regards, Edmund |

Hello, I am Younghoon Song in technical support team. But, we don"t have any data about comparing silicone to EPDM. Polar Siicone and non-polar EPDM are very different rubber. EPDM which has good cure state, high molecular weight and appropriate Filler loading appear good compression set property. KEP960N is high molecular grade even oil-extended. so, If you find suitable compound recipe for your application with KEP960N, then it can show you good compression property. For example, total 320~330phr White compound with KEP960N, calcium carbonate and silica and so on has about "25%" compression set(deflection of 25% in 70 ℃ x 22hrs).
